Hardware Requirements

FoxTrot is designed to operate on a PC based Local Area Network. The following specifications are intended to provide your technical staff with a minimum hardware requirement. Actual hard disk space will depend on your transaction activity, client base and number of brokers.

 
     
  Minimum Hardware Requirements  
 

  • File Server

    • Pentium III, AMD or higher microprocessor

    • 256 MB RAM

    • 100 MB free disk space per year
       

  • Workstations

    • Pentium 500 MHz or higher microprocessor

    • 256 MB RAM

    • 5 MB free disk space

    • Note: one workstation must be have a 56 Kbps modem (minimum) with a direct telephone line or Internet access
